I have the McAfee Security Center, and when I scan for unwanted programs it goes to the help center telling me how to do this. It used to work before. How do I fix this?

I don't have the solution to your problem within McAfee, but I do have a lot of clients who have used McAfee Security Center and stopped after experiencing this scenario. My advice to you is uninstall McAfee, install AVG Anti-virus (free), enable your Windows XP firewall (if you're using XP) or download Zone Alarm (free). Your problems will disappear. I have nothing personal against McAfee, but their (and other) all-in-one security products try to do too much - and fail in the process. Worse, they charge a lot of money for their Cadillac software when all you really needed was a Corolla...... if you catch my drift.
