Does anyone know the "proper" way to make a bed with a duvet cover? Is it left to right or top to bottom? It seems to be a slightly better fit top to bottom.

Hi I always make top to bottom,it looks better. & now I have found a great product on ebay.co.uk called Quilt Clips. They hold the corners of the duvet inside the cover & stop them getting tangled up : ) Cheers JB
