Running from the truth means that we do not have to confront it... at least not right away. Of course it always comes after us anyway, and usually by that time it has grown into something much bigger than it was before. For many people it is much easier to just keep running and hope they can get away from it for just a little while longer. The bigger it gets, the more likely we are to become overwhelmed and the less we feel that we can deal with it. Once you've started running it's hard to stop.

As the old saying goes The Truth Hurts and some people cna face being hurt. The other saying also falls int play the truth will set u free and some people sometimes cant handle being set free so they just hide from the truth so they dont have to face reality
