Question

Help answer this question below.

The fuel pump on my 1988 Grand Marquis 5.0 liter GS is not working. I replaced the fuel filter and checked the collision shut off switch but these were not the problem. Manual says fuse in starter motor relay could be problem. Where is this?

check your fuel pump breaker, it is listed in the owners manual and will tell you which one. it will be under the hood at the main fuse block, or on the firewall. before you buy one try switching it with one of the other relays of the same number. turn on the key and you should hear the pump run then stop, you may have to remove the gas cap to hear the pump run.
