When you rate a q or a (up OR down) is it because 1) you're literal (helpful/not); 2) you like the answer/it made you laugh; 3) you like/don't like the author; 4) you're being random in your ratings; 5) you're a kid or troll trying to get a rise (;-))?

I give a full load, who the h^ll am I to say if it's helpful, or not .... Just because it don't help me, doesn't mean it won't help someone else.

Option 1 & 2 for uprating. Although I rarely downright, I do it occasionally when an answer is way over the top offensive or hostile.
