On the big issues...no. On some of the details, yes. Although we are philisophical alligned, we do discuss and debate politics frequently.

yes. According to my s.o, I have some political views and my s.o. doesn't. We are diametrically opposed on most issues that come up, however, we both agree that there really are no good options for president this year.

I liked dennis kucinich, senator biden and richardson. So you can see that I am fairly much a dyed in the red-wool liberal. My dear wife, on the other hand, is a Republican who despises Bush and loves John McCain. I could live with McCain, as I respect his sense of honor and some of his political views--and simultaneously I could be happy with either Obama or Clinton. So, for the first year out of many, we are not at opposite ends of the tug rope. And we miss the fireworks.

If ice cream were politics then, yes, we are violently of different opinions. But as far as Republicans and Democrats are concerned we are in total agreement.

Yep... She's a Dem, I'm Republican... She thinks we should just get out of Iraq... I think that would cause chaos, and give Al Quaeda a new land to work with, and leave the Iraqis defensless against them. Those are the biggies... While I don't know about her, I may be REGISTERED Republican, but I have seldom voted "straight-ticket". Whomever's best qualified for the job, far as I can see...

I am a widow; but when he was alive my husband decided who we would vote for. I am presently "dating" a man (our Pastor). I will ask him who to vote for and we will be in harmonious agreement as the Bible instructs. We will be married in a few months. Read your Bible
