Do nasal sprays help with allergies and a constant stuffy nose?

Well, my doctor has been trying to get me to use them for years. I tried a couple, one that made no difference, another that made me feel drugged... I had pretty much given up on them until the inside of my nostrils swelled up and closed almost completely. I finally tried Flonase and I am amazed at how well it works. It doesn't make me feel weird and I can breath through my nose for the first time in a really long time! The down side is that I have the occasional bloody nose, but that is starting to fade now.

saline sprays help wash the pollutants out of your sinus passages, yes. Decongestant sprays work immediately but do nothing to actually resolve the problem and are addictive ( build up a tolerance so that the effect wears off quicker) Steroid sprays work to desensitize the allergic process, but takes a week or so to build up. They are the most effective.
