I have changed a belt or two, changed a blown-out tire, and rigged a muffler. Beyond that, probably not. :)
-
i doubt i could, although i could tell you whats wrong with it.
-
it depends, if all it needed was to be hit really hard and it'd go right back into running shape... i still couldnt, it is a ZERO% chance i'd be fixing it.
-
Very little if you have no knowledge whatsoever about car repair or anything. But even an idiot can fix something in a time of desperation.
-
98% I could fix it. so i say chances are good.
-
Depends on what it is. If it's a belt, I can do it. If It's the transmission, forget it.
-
I used to work on cars as a hobby, so I would say chances are pretty good.
-
zero. Anything short of changing a tire, I'll leave to my hubby...and I'll leave that to him as well, unless I have no choice but to do it on my own.
-
unless all it needs is gas... there is not a chance in the world that i can fix it.
-
I'm up s**t creek if it does break down.
-
Zero I am afraid my husband does all of that.Maybe I had better learn maybe a good course would help.
-
zero, zilch, nada...basically, I'm screwed!
-
0%
-
I would check the battery cables, gas and tires after that I'd be lost.
-
i will be in deep shit.
-
if its a pre 80's car ...no worries at all...with my eyes closed (which all mine are) but if its a new one ...forget it!, I have seen mechanics with 40 years experience throw their hands up in despair
-
If? You mean WHEN! Seriously, I've had many things go wrong with vehicles over the years and the only two I couldn't manage to limp home to fix were both snapped timing belts; NOT an easy road-side fix, especially on a 4th-gen Civic. Those crank pulleys are torqued to hell and then you gotta do the engine mount.... I've replaced hoses and belts roadside, done alternators and distributors in a parking lot, and a head gasket, shocks, and a few mufflers in my driveway. For bonus points, I made a 'new' thermostat gasket out of a swim fin ;)
-
Slim... I dont have a car... Its a huuuuge truck!
-
yep, i sure can. (and I'm blonde) go figure!!(lol) it may take me a little longer to fix it, but determination has a way of driving me to the finish line....
-
Errrrrrm, like Zero ,to not a snowballs chance in hell
-
If it can't be fixed by a good kick and a few tears, then my chances are pretty much zero...lol
-
In my case, very little.
-
Odds are pretty good I could fix anything on mine considering I built it from the frame up and 1928 technology is pretty simple. (1928 Ford) My girlfriends new Bronco might be a little tougher.
-
If it's outta gas or has a flat...I can do that. Otherwise, where's the number for that tow company. Wish I could find a guy to teach me to change my own oil.
-
ZERO percent. I keep my AAA card in a safe place!
-
I can do the basics, change oil, change a tire, etc.
-
If I'm wearing my little black dress.......chances are very good!:):)
-
Not good and that's why i joined a breakdown/roadside assist thing. If i break down, i call them, they fix it, it's all good, no stress :)
-
On a scale of 1-10, about 0
-
About a 95% chance, i am a tight ass and hate paying anyone to do anything for me.
-
I think I can handle the basics, other that that I would have to call for help.
-
Me? Maybe 50/50. If my husband was with me, 99.9% it would get fixed.
