I would first locate any modeling agencies in your area and ask what their guidelines/requirements are for interviewing new models. Be sure to do an extensive background check on the agency, there are so many modeling scams out there it can be sometimes confusing. If an agency asks you to pay them to book/find you work or to take modeling classes then most times they are not legit. Some agencies do deduct the cost of starting your portfolio out of the money earned from your bookings/jobs. You do not need professional shots when meeting with an agency. Some basic photos will do, one from the front and one from the side, headshot from shoulders up and full length from feet up. The less makeup the better. If a female, a shot in a swim suit showing your shape. If the first agency you go to doesn't sign you, don't get discouraged, keep trying until you find an agency you are right for. Good Luck!
