Anthozoa. They're lots of little, tiny guys that excrete the hard stuff you normally associate with "coral".

They are grouped with all of the sea animals that use nematocysts as stinging cells in the phylum, Cnidaria.They are in the class Anthozoa. They are then divided into two subclasses, Alcyonaria and Zoantharia. Then there are 6 (I think) orders they are divided into. It gets more and more specific.
