Boy Scout Pocket-Knife. Then, from about 12 or so, a sheath knife (camping knife), and a box-cutter (the old kind - single-edge blade in metal sheath) - I worked after school at a store stocking shelves (dad's store). Used to carry them almost everywhere.

I never carried one as a child but I do now. It is one of those that has all the little gadgets.

Yes, I always liked my pocket knives, but two years ago I bought my first switchblade.

Well, being a computer geek, I carry a Leatherman tool on my keyring (along with my USB thumbdrive, and...oh yeah...my keys). It has a tiny little knife as one of the tools. Does that count?

i started carrying a pocket knife around 14 or 15. We lived in a decent part of the neighborhood that was turning bad fast. Now i have a switch blade with a personalized case. Of course i have my car at all times so if im going into the mall or courthouse i always leave it in the car. YOu know places that have rentacops.

I always carried a pocket knife as a kid (teen). It was always razor sharp too. When I was in Vo.Ag. because it was always sharp it was often used to castrate piglets. I lost my knife several years ago and have never replaced it.

7-20-2017 I carried a pen knife, about 1 1/2" long. I don't remember when I got it, but I used it frequently. I still had it when I enlisted in the Air Force. They allowed me to keep it because it was so small. I have no idea what happened to it. I just never thought about it again.

I carried a pocket knife with me everyday as a kid. Wore it on my belt in school from elementary to college. No one ever cared. It was a tool - not a weapon. Today that would be impossible.
