  • I have so many other uses for them after I bring them home from the grocery store. I use them as trashcan liners in my bathroom. They're great for traveling when you have wet or smelly clothes you have to repack. I use them for covered dish "lids" when I don't want them touching the top of the food. They're great for when kiddos are sick and need a "mobile barf bag" in the car or around the house when you're not sure if they'll make it to the toilet in time. I could go on and on. :-)
  • People keep giving them to us. What's so wrong with them anyway? Not everyone throws them out right after they are used to carry groceries. My Food and Nutrition teacher makes her plastic bags available for the trash cans in the cupboards under the sinks so we can put garbage in them and carry them to the big garbage can after we're finished cleaning our designated kitchens.
  • I use plastic bags and recycle them when I can. The alternative is paper bags which would require more trees to be cut down. It's pretty much a draw on which one is more Eco friendly.
  • Because they're trying to save the trees from being made into paper bags:)
