Not that often. It's actually not a good idea to clean your ears with Q-tips. You might damage an eardrum by accident. You might also end up with an ear infection. If you push a Q-tip too far in, you are pushing the wax in further during the process. If you're going to use a Q-tip, don't put it all the way in your ear. There are places that sell ear syringes. Ear syringes are a far better choice than Q-tips. Of course you don't have to listen to me.

I clean my ears often but not with Q-tips or towels...Normally with a hair clip or old key....
