  • It could be...Sometimes people use them for naughty activities on answerbag, like trolling...Sometimes they are just used to ask personal questions, that you don't want on your main account.
  • Am I naughty? ;) But seriously, I really don't care about them (sorry Arisztid for borrowing your words). AB is about the fun for me, not who's having sockpuppets or who's not.
  • I guess that depends on where you've got the sock at the time. :)
  • Sockpuppets? I don't know what you all are talking about. but i am thinking about a male review now. lol Thx!
  • Not me. I am very, very good. I couldn't do anything naughty if I tried.
  • They can be. I don't have a sock puppet that I wouldn't admit was mine. I do my own dirty work. I'm a lot of things but a sneak and a coward are not on the list.
  • Only if it has been on a naughty foot.
  • In Answerbag, "sock puppet" refers to people who sign up for multiple IDs with the intent to use them maliciously to down-rate their enemies and/or up-rate their friends. Now, having multiple IDs, in itself, is no big deal. Many people use them legitimately to ask or answer controversial questions. Anonymnity is a central theme to just about the whole Internet thing. But when those IDs are used to manipulate the ratings system, that's considered an abuse of the Bag.
