This is not an answer, but only what I believe to be the way of the world we live in today. The majority of children who are kidnapped are not usually taken and held for a ransom of any kind. They are instead slowly tortured to an early death, with sickening actions done to their innocent bodies against their will. IF a ransom were to be demanded in return of a child, any parent (dare I say, even a bad parent) would move mountain and man to get the money required to have the precious blood of their blood back within their reach and by their side. I believe though, and have absolutely no proof, that most children reported missing are safely returned to their life. Because of the great fear upon us, many children are reported missing every day in err. When in fact they are just down the street at the neighbor's house or with GrandMa. Seems Mom and Dad are too busy to listen or remember every little thing, cause they're juggling ten thousand other things to keep afloat.
