I think anyone who could do that has to be a twisted psycotic, but he was also a servant to his patients wishes, and I respect that alot. I know I could never do it, but then again, hospitals all over the place pull the plug on people, isn't that pretty close to the same thing?

I think he's doing what people want, and since it's against what's socially accepted...he's looked at wrong for it. I don't think the government should dictate whether or not a terminally ill patient can decide when enough is enough, and don't think Kevorkian was or is wrong.

He helps those leave the world that wish too, helping those riddled with pain leave this world with dignity. How can that be anything but a kind act?

I think he is pushing the envelope on a very important social issue. I am in favour of assisted suicide in terminal cases. We often treat our pets better that our loved ones.

Even though I don't believe in assisted suicides because of the karmic issues associated with it,and in essence playing god, thus one is not fulfilling their karmic debts,he is filling a need.

Before I saw my grandparents suffer, I would have said a twisted psycotic but after seeing how they suffered, I'd want help in ending it if I was in pain & couldn't breath
