For them in what way? His name or initials, I wouldn't do, but if he wanted me to get something else (even symbolic), I would.

I would NEVER get any mans name on me, unless it is in memorial of my father when his time comes or if I have a son. I *HAVE* however considered matching/semi-matching tattoos. Such as him getting a cross or star and me getting the same cross but with a rose or the star in different colors. We have yet to agree upon anything we both desire, but the thought is there.

Tattoos last forever. Relationships seem like they will last for ever, but this is often not true. I have one tattoo, and that's all I plan to get at the moment. I would never get a name, not even my kids'. Tacky. Although my boyfriend wants to get our kids' names tattooed on him when we have them, and I thought that was cute.

well im underage still and my parents wont let me get one so about a year ago i decided to give myself on with a very crude tattoo gun.(if it could even be called that) well they healed and one of them i still have the scar of.

The day I get married I want my husband and I to tattoo our wedding date under our wedding bands. I think that's as far as I would go. Even if it ends up in divorce, you can always cover it with a ring.

I wouldn't do it specifically for my s/o, however, when I mentioned to my boyfriend that I was thinking about getting one, he got very excited. This has spurred me on even more. I have a design in mind and will visit a tattoo place this week.

My children's names with items that symbolize them are on my wrists. I have thought about something with my husbands name on me but we have been married for 35 yrs and I don't see us going anywhere anytime soon. I'd rather it be something he sees now, instead of it being a memorial piece he doesn't see later. I would rather see it now and smile for it to be cute or silly, instead of somber and making me cry when I look at it.
