In Major League baseball, who calls the pitches, the manager or the catcher?

    Actually your both right.

    There some teams like the Yankees and Cardinals that get their signs from the bench and then there are other teams, like the Mets, who let the catcher call the game. Either way, most pitchers can shake off a sign if they want too!
