Question

My RCA XL 100 has no instruction booklet and no remote. Is it cable ready as I only get 13 channels even though it's hooked to the cable. Is there a switch or lever to adjust and make it get all stations?

I have an RCA XL 100 hooked up to just my cable and I get up to Channel 78. I replaced my remote with a Magnavox Universal. The code was on the back of the package. You have to go to your Set Up Menu and make sure you are on Cable and not Attenna Mode.

i have the same problem even though it says cable the tv is not set up for it you can get a cheap vcr or dvd player and use the remote on it they will handle up to 100 channels otherwise u'd have to buy a cable box from ur cable provider... those suck and are expensive
