  • Sorry, I would answer but I'm ''pressed for time''. :)
  • If you don't purposefully "spend" it, time will be frittered away...you can save it by choosing how you spend it..you always invest it in whatever you do that takes time (and everything takes time)..the return is based on the quality and intelligence of the investment..I think you can owe time to others..perhaps you've buried yourself in your work or online and have cheated your family out of time spent with them. :)
  • Time is conceived in mind. It is a concept which is not real. Time cannot be saved or spent. It is otherwise,In fact Time spends us. Every second or minute in life is spent by Time leaving experience in mind. No. Time cannot be invested, nor you can get returns on investment. In Sanskrit "Time" is called "Kaala", the same word is used for "death" also. Ancient sages of India have done a lot of research on the subject and left equally valuable literature on the same. Good question to ponder over.
  • I wrote a short story once in which people literally spent time instead of money - everyone had a sort of ATM card that was credited or debited depending upon their actions - you lost time for smoking, for example, gained time for eating fresh veggies, lost time when you "wasted" it, gained time when you were productive. It was intended as an allegory for what actually does happen in your life.
