I actually resent those sub-categories. What's really the difference between Crazy Thoughts, Pondering Time and Conundrums? What's the difference between Random Contest and Who Would Win?

I heard that one of the original super-heavy moderators said that he suggests new categories/subcategories and when they're approved, he moves questions that he's pre-selected into their new homes. He does this a LOT. This person has stated many times that he loves points, so this positive reinforcement encourages him to suggest more and more new categories. Combined with those who us who suggest new ones now and then, well, you get the picture. This, I believe, is why there are so many subcategories, not just in Outside the Bag, but in all categories, as well.
