Yes thats correct you also need a certificate of no impediment which you get from the marriage section in the town hall it takes 21 days so do it asap and it only lasts 3 months, and your passport. I married my husband in December. you need to fill in a form for the british embassy (which I still have if you want me to send it) and take that to the british embassy you will have to pay a fee of £92 but in Moroccan dirhams, they will then give you a certificate of no impediment which you have to take to Rabat (Ministry of foregin affairs) to be legalised (this takes a while and your fiance cannot go in with u! very hard if you can only speak english like me). then you have to go to the court in Rabat and get another police check! (so thats 2 one in uk and one in Morocco!)all these documents have to be translated in to arabic. I was told to photocopy all documents yours and ur fiances 11 times (definatley do it! you will use them!)after you have all your documents stamped and translated you need to start marriage in the court where you fiance is from (where stated on his ID card) you will have to have a health check but if you pay them extra they just give you a pass certificate! (lol) and you have to have a police investigation which last 3 days its about your relationship eg: how long have you been together have you had sexual intercourse etc. it took me and my husband 3 weeks to get married. eek. good luck.
