Sure... Acting in a musical involves singing (solo or with a group) and dancing (or choreographed movement). While acting involves choreographed movement, it normally doesn't have to be as ... "smooth" as dancing. (Acting is not just saying words, you know... It IS "emoting" and "getting into the role", at least while you are on (stage or camera). [Edit} MOST actors like to "stretch" themselves in roles in which they're uncomfortable. Aren't you?
