Yes, they plant them around the outside of the building and sidewalks where my daughter attends classes and since we 'cut through' the grass, we end up tip-toeing through the tulips in the spring to keep from stepping on them!

Tulips and a mix of other flowers. Ummm, we were sneaking onto private property to skinnydip (blushes) and had to cut through a garden.
