Just over a week ago. We were on vacation and we decided to pack a picnic lunch.We had it overlooking the ocean.It was great,I must do it again soon!

5 or 6 years ago. My friend knew a lady who lived on a farm with horses and about 9 rescue dogs, so for my birthday one year a few of us went there and rode horses, played with the pups and had a picnic. It was delightful!

About a month ago. It wasn't a full blown picnic but we took our food and went to a park and watched the live buffalo eat grass.

I'll tell ya...a few years ago when my son was living in Santa Monica he drove out to Temecula to meet us with his then-girlfriend. She had packed a picnic lunch and we had brought some stuff too. The food was in coolers..we went to a few wineries in the area for the wine sampling..then we selected a particular winery that had a picnic bench beneath a tree around back..we purchased a couple of bottles of our favorite of the wines we had tasted..brought out the food and enjoyed the wine, food, environment, but mostly each other's company. My kid now lives and works in Honolulu so we can't do that again right away! It was wonderful! :)

A few months ago. It was a lovely indoor picnic with my husband. Totally unplanned after a series of screw ups throughout the day. It was wonderful. Full fledged outdoor picnic? About a year ago.

Just a couple of weeks ago we had a picnic in the state woods right next to us. It was a little cold but we had a great time, had thermoses with hot chocolate and soup, and some hot food.
