Tintinnabulation. Does anyone else think this is a heck of a waste of letters for such a trivial thing? I could see using this word for point maybe. Any thoughts or feelings on this?

Oh, no. It's a wonderful, poetic word for the tinkling of bells. After all, considering the number of lines in such poems as Poe's "The Bells," one runs out of ordinary nouns after a while. All the poems can't repeat "Nevermore" until you feel like driving a screwdriver into your ear. :o)
