I always had a liking for Amelia Earhart, Madame Curie, and Rosa Parks. I would think that out of the three I would recommend Madame Curie or Rosa Parks. Well, then there was Mother Theresa. Oh, by the way, she was a Gypsy. I would think that Joan d'Arc is going to be a popular figure for the reports but she would make good study.
