Only if you live in places where a 2nd language is beneficial. For example, if you apply for a job in Miami, Florida, it is definitely beneficial to know spanish... just know your area. For the most part - no, it doesn't matter.

Not only will you have a higher chance of getting hired, but you will get paid A LOT more. I work at an AT&T call center. English is the only language I speak fluently. I get paid more than anyone else I know at the center, including leadership interns (aka managers in training), and I get paid $12.18/hour. In the bilingual call center, they start you off on $14, minimum.
