Would you buy corporate bonds? why/why not?

    it depends on the company. Some company are quite solvent so there is no risk buying in those companies, And at the moment some good companies are paying extra because of the credit crunch so the yield will be higher.

    Beware of junk bonds and bonds in companies that may go under. Stick to good companies like pharma, high tech, medical, walmart, etc
