AB is designed to make money from adverts. So why do AB staff moderate out some questions that are legal, even if wacky, rather than sticking them in "outside the bag"? Surely more questions and answers makes more money?

Because some people don't like wading through that crap, and AB may lose traffic instead of gain it.

Those advertisements that you see on the right are paid for. People who advertise through questions, answers, or comments, are actually commiting advertising without paying for it. That's why these questions should be rejected. And according to the questions, Answerbag doesn't gain money by more questions or answers, but rather by the advertisements that are used.

You're right. Some of these moderators are actually doing AB a DISfavor.
