Would anything happen at all if some random hapless unemployed person, despondent & desperate, posted an ad in a newspaper that gave a link to his résumé & text in all caps saying: YOU HAVE TWO MONTHS TO GIVE ME A JOB BEFORE I KILL MYSELF?

Some sap would probably take pity on him and offer him a job. It wouldn't move me at all, though -- saying that *I* "have two months to give (him) a job" shows an attitude of entitlement that I call "bullsh*t" on...I don't owe you a damn thing, @$$hole! And there are a hundred different ways to respond to not having job -- suicide is a CHOICE, not a forgone conclusion.

First, if this person is homeless, where did the computer come from? i know many homeless people and none have a computer. Anyway, you would be surprised at the number of people that would respond. many would think this was a joke, but some would take it seriously. His ad is somewhat threatening and that would turn many people off from responding. many people would not respond, also, because this person has threatened to kill himself and that alone implies a psychotic person. Well, its really narrowed down to the number of respondents, because of the reason above. There will be at least one person that would answer thia ad, it may be you or i.

I would probably report him and have him commited because his reasoning isn't good enough. You should kill yourself for your beliefs, if at all, not for a job opportunity. That's just lame.
