  • No, they'd just assume you were up there getting stoned. Speaking of altering your perceptions, you need to go check that floor level sign by the elevator. One of the characters has come loose and fallen over 90 degrees. It's supposed to say -7 not 17. You live in the sub-basement not on the 17th floor. You are low not high, lay off them perception alterers for a while.
  • Usually, people would say "I'm high up." Making a mistaken assumption like that can be excused, because, seriously, it's much more likely that you're high on some reality altering drug than you are literally high up in the air. Besides, they'll probably just think you're lighting up on the 17th floor.
  • Same as I saw questions on here yesterday,, A girl was asking of a miscarriage,, people assumed she was asking for herself...and some answers were very rude directed towards her,, Most people just take things for granted that are the most common ,,,or that they persume. Just be careful ,, if you're on the right drugs ,,you may be able to think you can fly from your 17th story . In which you may be able to ,,if a helicopter drops you a line to your balcony.
  • If you said, "I'm high." to describe having a room on the 17th floor, people would assume that English is not your first language.
  • nope.unless you gave it the context of distance from the ground then the most likely meaning is that would have been such. if they do not say anything to you then you are not harmed. if they make their assumption clear they are giving you a chance to correct their assumption. their assumption was reasonable so they have no reason to be embaressed. and either way you were not harmed so they do not owe you an apology.
