Puppy Love - see <link removed - doesn't work - see poem, below> And "Love Doesn't Work Like That" about people I knew who were abused by bf/sos. ----- [Edit] Apparently, the link doesn't work, since Poetry.com was bought by Lulu. Here's the poem that was published there: ** Puppy Love Dedicated to Shelby, and her puppies, Kasey and Kirby Puppies' paws go pitter-patter; toenails on the hardwood clatter Chasing toes and tails and kitty cats and little litter mates Puppies yip and yipe and yammer at each other as they clamor For attention, food and loving--morning, afternoon, and late Puppies leave little pee puddles, and their petite poopy piles Squish between toes when you step on them; not easy to ignore! Puppies' coats are cute and cuddly, soft and silky--furry, fuzzy But then even puppies shed some on the furniture and floors Puppies make a mess of matters leaving clothes and papers tatters They can get ahold of anything that's laid around or hung Puppies nip at toes and fingers, but there's puppy breath that lingers On the nose and face and hair and hands from little puppy tongues Puppies' tails wag and wiggle making human children giggle Watch a child with a puppy and you see the puppy love An adult sees puppies at play, remembering their childhood days They smile a little to themselves and dream of puppy love William (Bill) Daryl Sanders Copyright ©2006 William (Bill) Daryl Sanders
