Yes. A couple times. Once I bought an autographed photo. I knew it was fake (even though they insisted it was real) but it was kinda a joke gift kinda thing so it didn't matter. It was only a couple bucks, but I never got it, and they were removed from ebay very soon afterward. I also purchased some discontinued filters for my water cooler and the sellers were given my old address by either ebay or paypal. My address had been changed, and when I looked it showed my new address everywhere, and nobody could say why the seller got my old address. The people who live in my old house of course said they never got anything. (fedex left it at the side door, and they were having construction done). Never got my money back or the filters and got tired of arguing with everyone. (The sellers told me they had 70,000 of these filters, they could've sent me a new one)

No, but I am careful to only buy from well-established sellers with a very high positive feedback.

That's a good question. No. Anything I bought I got. BUT, one item I bought turned out to be from Shanghai, and the S&H costs were $25. (Relatively small item.) Pay attention to where it's from, pay attention to all costs listed, and pay attention to the sellers' ratings (and complaints), and you SHOULD be fine.

I have several times. I bought what was supposed to be some photos of a celebrity (autographed).. I got a bunch of newspaper clippings of her.. I have sold stuff I haven't gotten paid for, I have shipped stuff that they have expected their money back for because they wanted a NEW item and it was used.. Sure, I will ship you a $100 item for $5.00. They are not very secure either. I have had money taken from my account.. companies overseas saying I bought stuff worth thousands of dollars that I never bought..never even heard of the company.
