You should actually be able to delete it from "My Computer" by going to the device directly, which will be listed as removeable media or a removeable drive.

This is what I do. I act like I'm syncing the same song again, then it should say it's already on the device. Then, you right click on it and choose the one that says delete. I had the same problem before.
