It could be several things, Your window could be off track, or your widow motor is bad, or just the window regulator is bad. Fixing it would consist of removal of the door panel, and replacing the bad part or putting the window back on its track.

You may want to check your fuse. Some power window systems operate by fuse.

One of my rear car windows does the same thing. Try this: while pressing down on the window button, beat firmly on the car door inside several times. I'm not kidding - the service man at my dealership showed me how to do that. Sometimes window motors "freeze up" and need a little encouragement.
