  • I wouldn't need to think twice about it, yes. I'm extremely doubtful I'd have a dog if I was having a child, I wouldn't feel comfortable having the two around each other, especially during my child's first few years.
  • Hell yes.
  • yes i would.
  • How is it that my dog would be in the presence of a small child unsupervised? I cannot fathom how this could happen.
  • I love my dogs. They are a part of my family. But if I had children and one of my puppies was overtly aggressive towards said children, I would find them a new home if possible. It would absolutely break my heart, but human babies come before fur babies. That being said, I truly believe that most dogs are perfectly safe around kids if they are properly trained and introduced to the children the right way. The burden falls on the part of the owner to make sure their pets are well-behaved. However, sometimes a dog has aggression issues and would be better off in another situation. I grew up with at least 2 dogs in the house my entire life. They were my forever friends, my confidants, my playmates, my pillows, my shoulder to cry on. Dogs can teach kids so much about responsibility and life. But if a dog turns, steps must be taken to protect the kids.
  • yes you should no offense if mine did that my husband would have her put down
