Can an American licensed real estate broker sell property located in a British Colony?

    I think it depends on which british colony you are asking about. some countries don't require any kind of licenses for their realestate agents (believe it or not).. so having any kind of license would be better than none.. giving the person a leg up on whats already in place.

    having said that, it would be best to check out the laws of that particular country and see what a broker is required to have before selling.
