- how on earth is it racist (that is the correct spelling) to generalise basketballers to be tall and black? How is that in any way derogatory to black people? I think it's quite good to be a basketballer.
  I think you just saw that I put colour into my answer and immediately assumed I thought of a black person in a negative way. I think that says more about you than me.

While I have great respect for the rookies Kevin Garnett
and Greg Oden, my favorites are Ben Wallace and Philadelphia 76ers guard Andre Miller.
I used to really like John Stockton, and David Robinson when they were in the league.

I like Chris Mullin. The deck was stacked against him and he still managed to dominate. First of all he's white, slow, not much of a leaper, and he was an alcoholic, but with hard work and determination, he was able to overcome these obstacles...

My favorite basketball player is Kevin Garnett because he is a all around player. He can play defense and is a monster on the glass. He is also a monster in the paint on offense.

Of today's players I will go with Tim Duncan. The guy works hard, is unpretentious, and a winner. Of all time it is hard to pick just one: Rick Barry, Kareem-Abdul-Jabbar, and "Downtown" Freddy Brown as well as the "Iceman" George Gervin are a few of mine.

Kobe Bryant, he is also the most explosive, he could go for 50 every night if he wanted to. Yes that is a rash overstatement but he scores all of the time and I almost forgot that he dropped 81 in a game.

My favorite bball player will definitely be bruce bowen. he works hard and plays hard, improving like crazy. what makes him different is tat he isn't like lebron and jordan (no offense) who are naturally talented. instead, bruce works hard and trys to defend ppl who are more talented (naturally) than he is.

My favorite of all time is Magic Johnson.

Being a 6'9" point guard gave him a such great view of the court, which I guess really enhanced his decision making.

Of those currently playing, Kobe Bryant is my favorite to watch although he's not my favorite person.
