I have to have an endometrial biopsy, will i be able to go back to work the next day? Is it painful (for those who have had one, or know someone who has)

It depends on what you are having your biopsy for?? And how well you tolerate pain?? When I worked at a hospital next door to my Ob's office went to an appt. and had a cyst taken off of my cervix and immediatley went back to work. It was tender, but not bad. And I also have endometriosis and have had two surgies for this. They took a few days to one week to get over. Good luck with your outcome...you will do fine.

It depends on the method I imagine. . .in most cases a few days is reccomended: see http://women.webmd.com/endometrial-biopsy I can tell you that I wasn't able to go back to work for a week after an endometrial ablation (not the same as a biopsy for clarifications sake).
