You're more likely to care about an attractive character, and therefore their death has more impact upon you as a viewer. When some random guy that doesn't stand out gets hit by a bus, you usually either don't care too much or laugh. When a character that you've built up an emotional connection with throughout the movie dies, you're impacted-which provides for a more emotional and memorable viewing experience. But i could be wrong, idk.

because it will have a more dramtic effect you be like 'ohhh nooooo thats sooo sad' but if it was some ugly person it be like 'oh well'. Sad but true unless the less attractive guy was funny. And as someone said it is usually the black guy that dies first anyways.....well it use to be.

IDK but why does it always have to be the cute guy??? Like in the movie panic room that cute guy with the cornrows had to die. In the movie four brothers the youngest and the cutest brother Garret Hedlund had to die. In the Troy once again Garret Hedlund dies first then Brad Pitt. I cant stand when they do that.

and the hot woman always lives happily ever after with the main character after her partner dies. BORING. That's why I like War movies. No romance in it to ruin the plot.

i MEAN FOREAL THOUGH AFTER THE CUTE ONE DIES, THEN ITS LIKE OK NOW i DONT WANT TO WATCH IT ANYMORE. cUZ iM BASICLY WATCHIN IT CUZ THE GUYS CUTE AND I WANNA SEE HIM! nOT SOME OTHER UGLY GUY!
