  • Actually, you're supposed to be honest. So the answer will vary for each individual. While it's true that sometimes you can get short-term gains by pretending, in general a job interview goes better if you're being yourself -- that's what is most likely to help you "connect" with the interviewer(s), and that connection is worth about 10 times more than a polished presentation for most jobs. So I've been on many interviews, and been hired a lot of times. My typical answer about the "worst quality" question is "a tendency to let my arrogance get away from me, instead of managing it."

  • Sometimes I'm tempted to exagerate just to get any issues defined and out of the way.
