Why has the cost of neon signs almost doubled in the last 6 months?

Humm... I did't get that memo, I still sell neon cheap. The standard answer... Just passing along cost increases. We (glassbenders) rely heavily on natural gas or propane and both fuel recourses have risen substantially in cost along with rising gas prices. Furthermore suppliers have all attached fuel surcharges to make up for increased cost for deliveries. In general the cost of living has gone and unless we pass along the increases our profit margins go down to the point of busines failure. Bottom Line... Thank Bush!
