I don't fear rejection, but that is not to say that I embrace it. I absolutely hate being rejected, but I don't let that stop me from trying.

Fear is a powerful word...I don't like being rejected but when I am rejected, oh well.. When someone has been rejected all of their lives it is natural for me to except it and move on. Life is to short and I enjoy life to much.

Everyone fears rejection, that's why we go so far out of our way to please people who really don't merit it. I was a sales manager for many years and the thing I worked hardest on was getting my salespeople past the fear of rejection. My mantra was simple. "The worst answer you can get is NO and that's where you were before you asked." Those who got the message lived much more fullfilling lives than the others.

Yeah. Even though I've never been rejected there is one person that I would truly like to get together with,but I KNOW he will not agree. It's pretty complicated. I just wish I could ask him anyway.

I have such a fear of rejection, it actually paralyzes me. I am so afraid of being rejected or left out that it makes me seriously miserable. I disguise it by showing what a proud little know-it-all I am, of course.

the older and wiser you get the less you feel it. take the attitude if somone wants to reject you its their loss not yours
