My boyfriend doesn't live here. I will send him a card this year. We both agreed since I am visiting in March that we should save our money so we can do more fun things together!

My granddaughter and I are going to cut about 40 hearts out of foam, decorate them and tape them on my front door. We decorate the door for all the holidays.

No..we don't make a big deal out of holidays/birthdays with gifts and going out to eat and all that. We did for awhile but one day we had a long talk and came to find out neither of us liked the fuss, the worry about getting the right gift, etcetera etcetera etcetera. So we settled on getting each other cards. If there is anything either of us wants, we just go out and get it. It is far more relaxing that way. I love to cook so going out to eat is more an ordeal for me than a treat. It's amazing what you can find out by just talking to each other! :)

Just kick back and get drunk and pout about my stupid life and being lonely, and basically look out my window and see couples lining the street like zombies and giving each other a kiss under a warm breeze of snow flakes while the men pull out wedding rings and roses and the women give them a hug and they hold hands and walk home to later enjoy their love, whilst rubbing it in everybody else's (me) face. So, yup, a 24 pack of corona should do the trick.
