If the answer is absolutely nonsensical, flag it as nonsense. If it is spam/offensive, flag it as such. Otherwise, do not flag. A reply is also an answer, even it it is "wrong". The advantage of getting any answer, wrong or not, to your questions is that it let your question start back by the new arrivals at the top of the stack. So it helps your question to be noticed once again and I would rather not flag such a "wrong" answer. It proves that someone had some interest at answering your question. If you did not get the answer you wanted, you could try to answer your own question after a time to get the same effect. But don't do that too often, it could be annoying. You could also rephrase your question very differently, adding some interesting information. Ask yourself before why your question could have lacked attractivity. Just be careful that it could be flagged as a duplicate, if it is most similar to the original question. And there are some questions which will never get a "right" answer, for various reasons. The best way to contribute to the solution of this problem would be to look at questions which have already been answered. Maybe the answer is just a reply, a joke, or you have some idea how you could give supplementary information. I think the idea is that even if a question has received a "right" answer, other interesting answers could still be given.

I get your point, but sometimes the asker may not even know the answer is wrong. I've answered questions that required facts, not opinions, where the older answers were highly ranked, but were wrong. I would have loved to somehow flag those answers so as to prevent the asker from getting bad information.
