Regular Checkers (or Draughts), as you know, is played on a flat board with pieces moving as they normally move. However just as a cube has width, length and height, so too in a game of dimensionalized Checkers the pieces must have the ability to go up and/or down. Take for example this site that explains it very well. http://www.geocities.com/onefocus99/holdingfolder/main_pgweb/ImageMap2.html -- (You need Java installed, because the instructions are animated). It keeps to all the regular rules of checkers. (Explained by Paul Glover at dimensionalized.com)
