When I used to do a lot movie editing for game videos I used Sony Vegas for editing then compressed with divx pro.

If it's just for YouTube then I'd go with Windows Movie Maker. If you want your end output to be better quality, like a DVD, then the Adobe package is best. Premiere for editing and Encore for DVD production. Hope this helps.

Free and easy to use, the go for Windows Movie Maker. If you are looking for more features and don't mind spending some money then get either Sony Vegas or Adobe Premiere CS4.

Yeah, so for pc simply make videos. It's always been that way and always likely enough will stay that way, too
