  • I think company chose the names of the products they want to market and the FDA has to investigate and study to see if the product or drug is safe for the population. Sometimes companies select a name that resembles or represents the chemical composition of the drug or compound.
  • Obviously the ones that are taking the drugs. I cant pronounce 1/10 of them.
  • I'm not entirely sure, but if I had to guess, I'd say the drug companies probably employ ad execs who know how to assemble random sylables in the right order to be asthetically pleasing and/or get across whatever subliminal message the company wants to convey about their drug (Either in how the name looks incorporated into a logo, or in how it sounds when one says it).
