  • The rear seats in most cars work the same way. The bottom cushion of the rear seat is held in by some spring-loaded clips. Simply pull up on the front edge of the seat cushion and it will detach. The back cushion will probably be held in place by a few screws or nuts mounted on welded studs. Carefully examine the perimeter of the back cushion (esp. near the side panels) for these fasteners. Remove the fasteners and the seat cushion should just lift out. Note: As you're doing this, pay careful attention to how the seat belts are routed through the cushions. • Judging from your other questions about this 1990 Ford Tempo it seems that it's going to take you at least an hour to steal it.
